Build a lot, learn fast, and work directly with founders on real product and infrastructure.
The product is still changing quickly, so this is not a perfectly scoped internship where you get one neat project and a manager checks in once a week. You’ll be working directly with the founders on real product and infrastructure problems around Cognitia’s memory graph, integrations, and developer surfaces.
You might work on
Frontend and backend product features
Memory ingestion, graph, and retrieval flows
Integrations with tools like Gmail, Slack, browsers, or messaging apps
MCP/API and developer experience for people connecting Cognitia to other AI tools
Internal tools that help us move faster
Experiments that may become core product
Probably a good fit if you
Have built real projects before, even small ones
Can work in TypeScript, JavaScript, or Python
Are interested in personal AI, memory layers, and the future of software
Like startups and don’t need everything to be perfectly organized
Can handle ambiguity
Actually enjoy shipping things
Who it’s not for
This is probably not a good fit if you want a very structured internship, a slow onboarding process, or work that is mostly theoretical. We care less about your exact year in school and more about whether you can figure things out.
The goal
Leave with real shipped work, a strong understanding of how early-stage startups operate, and the feeling that you helped build something before it was obvious.
Stack
TypeScript, Next.js, Node, Python, LLM APIs, databases, cloud infra, and whatever else we need.
