How do credits work?
Credits are primarily consumed based on:
AI Processing
Used for task planning, decision making, and output generation.
Data Integration
Used for accessing your connected accounts and personal information.
File Processing
Used for analyzing, extracting, and processing uploaded documents and files.
The specific credits consumption for a task is determined by its complexity. Credits are only consumed during active task processing - completed tasks and the storage or deployment of their outputs do not consume any credits, so there's no need to delete completed tasks.

Credits are based on the work Cognitia does for you — chat, tools, and data processing. You do not choose a model; we route inference internally.
