Find answers to common questions about Cognitia AI, integrations, pricing, and more.
Cognitia gives you access to multiple cutting-edge AI models including OpenAI GPT-5.1, GPT-5.2, GPT-5 Mini, Anthropic Claude Opus 4.6, Claude Opus 4.5, Claude Sonnet 4.5, Claude Haiku 4.5, and Google Gemini 3 Flash and Pro. You can switch between models at any time. Different subscription tiers may have access to different model sets.
Yes. Your data is encrypted both at rest and in transit. Cognitia never uses your personal data for model training. All integration connections use industry-standard OAuth 2.0, and financial data is handled through Plaid's bank-level encryption. You maintain full control over which integrations are connected and can disconnect any service at any time from the sidebar.
Cognitia currently supports: Email (Gmail, Outlook, iCloud Mail), Calendar (Google Calendar, Outlook Calendar -- auto-enabled with email), Cloud Storage (Google Drive, OneDrive, Dropbox), Finance (Plaid for bank accounts), Social Media (X/Twitter, LinkedIn, Telegram), Local Device (OpenClaw companion app), Chat Backup imports (WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook Messenger, TikTok, WeChat, LINE), and the MCP Marketplace for connecting external MCP servers. Browser automation and web search are available without any integration setup.
Cognitia uses a credit-based system where each message, tool call, and AI interaction consumes credits. More powerful models cost more credits per message. Tool calls (email search, browser automation, document generation, etc.) add to the cost. Your subscription tier determines your monthly allocation. You can track your usage in Account settings. Visit the "How Credits Are Calculated" page for a detailed breakdown.
Yes, you can cancel your subscription at any time from your Account settings. When you cancel, you'll retain access to your current plan's features until the end of your billing period. After that, your account will revert to the free tier. All your data and connected integrations remain intact.
Cognitia stands apart in several key ways: (1) Multi-agent orchestration -- a single message can trigger parallel actions across email, calendar, social media, and more. (2) Persistent memory -- your AI remembers context across all conversations. (3) Data ownership -- you own your data and control who accesses it, with a vision toward data monetization. (4) Local device integration -- OpenClaw bridges cloud AI with your desktop for screen capture, file access, and local commands. (5) Browser automation -- Cognitia can navigate websites, fill forms, and complete tasks on your behalf.
OpenClaw is a companion desktop application that connects Cognitia's cloud intelligence to your local computer. Once installed and paired with your Cognitia account, it enables capabilities like screen and camera capture, reading and writing local files, searching device data, running local commands, receiving desktop notifications, and delegating tasks between cloud and device. You can download it from the Local Device section in the sidebar.
Yes. Cognitia includes a server-side browser automation agent that can navigate websites, click buttons, fill out forms, extract data, and complete multi-step flows. This is useful for tasks like making restaurant reservations, researching information from specific websites, comparing prices, or filling out online forms. The browser agent runs securely on our servers -- no browser extension or local setup is needed.
Cognitia can generate documents in five formats: Excel spreadsheets (XLSX), Word documents (DOCX), PowerPoint presentations (PPTX), PDFs, and CSV files. Generated documents can be downloaded directly or uploaded to your connected cloud storage (Google Drive, OneDrive, or Dropbox).
Cognitia maintains context across all your conversations through a persistent memory system. It remembers your preferences, past interactions, and important details you've shared. You can also set custom directives (instructions and preferences) from the Directives page that guide how the AI responds to you. This creates a truly personalized assistant that gets better over time.
The MCP Marketplace lets you browse and connect external MCP (Model Context Protocol) servers to extend Cognitia with additional tools and capabilities. You can search the Official MCP Registry for publicly available servers -- such as Notion, Slack, or database connectors -- and connect them with a single click. You can also add custom MCP servers by entering their URL and authentication details. Once connected, the external server's tools become automatically available in your chat conversations. There is no additional cost for using external MCP tools beyond the normal LLM token credits already charged per message. If an external server overlaps with a built-in integration you already have (e.g., Gmail), the built-in version takes priority automatically. Access the MCP Marketplace from the sidebar.
